The Municipality of General Pueyrredon will have to overcome difficulties to carry out the projects that the Ministry of Works designed for the enhancement of coastal walks in the center of the city, after the two public works tenders that it carried out in the last hours produced bad news .
In tune with the difficulties that have been evidenced in different public works initiatives, the Commune did not receive valid offers in the Public Tender 17/23 carried out on Tuesday for the execution of sidewalks on the coastal front. Although at the time the envelopes were opened there were two proposals from construction companies, they were immediately rejected since they did not complete all the documentation required in

The work for the resurfacing and enhancement of the Gandhi Corridor in Camet has been awarded.
The work plan has an official budget of $95,259,150 assigned, with an execution period of 180 days and where three sectors will be intervened. Paseo Dávila includes the area between Paseo de los Molinos to the beginning of Alfonsina beach, where new concrete sidewalks will be built. In Paseo Las Toscas, the work consists of the removal of the existing tiles and the execution of a new sidewalk on the waterfront from the projection of Alvear to Alsina. Finally, in the Skate Park sector, the repair and changes of specific tiles will be carried out in places where they are missing, broken or with great deterioration.
Meanwhile, the General Directorate of Contracts registered on Wednesday an offer in the Public Tender 12/23 for the renovation of the Paseo Costanero Central, a work that has been accumulating failures in the tenders carried out since last year. In this case, the firm Emprendimientos Eléctricos del Sur SA offered $154,019,083, a figure 110% higher than the official budget of $73,041,327. For this reason, the Permanent Commission for the Study of Offers and Awarding could end up rejecting it, which will be studied in the next instance of the tender.

This intervention consists of the remodeling of the "Paseo Costanero Central", a sector delimited by Boulevard Marítimo avenue, between San Martín street and Diagonal Juan Bautista Alberdi. It is an intervention that was thought in conjunction with another that was tendered and is currently underway, the one on the Paseo Costanero Norte, between Constitución and Parque Camet.
In the case of the work in the center, the Municipality intends to "connect in a renewed way the auction of the historic Rambla Casino with the beginning of Paseo Dávila." For this, "a widening of the sidewalk on Boulevard Marítimo with bays that advance on the beach surface will be carried out, doubling the circulation surface for pedestrians and generating access points to the beach." |
