Works for schools No. 93 and No. 83 in the head city of the department of Uruguay were tendered. The budget allocated to educational improvements exceeds 29 million pesos.

The Minister of Planning, Infrastructure and Services, Marcelo Richard, led the opening ceremony of both works, held at the Escuela N° 93 Santiago del Estero educational establishment. Also present were the school authorities, Rosalía Saldivia from School No. 93, and Susana Viggiano from School No. 83.
"The public works plan of the government of Gustavo Bordet continues to specify projects that meet the needs and demands of each sector such as health, culture, sanitation, and in this case, improvements in education," said Minister Marcelo Richard to start the act of opening envelopes.
The official made special mention of the type of tender in which both works are framed. In this sense, he explained: "Today we are opening the envelopes of a private bidding and a price contest, which are administrative procedures that allow us to immediately attend to the intervention and execution of works, and in this way give a quick solution to the problems that must be addressed, guaranteeing improvements for the normal development of the activities of the establishments”.
They were also accompanied by the Technical Coordinator of the Ministry of Planning, Oscar Miró, and representatives of the Zonal Department of Architecture and Construction of the province of Entre Ríos.
Technical details of the works
The roof covering repair work at School No. 93 Santiago del Estero, whose official budget is 21,832,635.11 pesos, is set to take 120 days to complete. For its execution two companies presented their offers.
It is planned to remove the colonial tile roof and its wooden structure, and the No. 25 color galvanized sheet metal roof will be placed, with self-drilling. The termination will be carried out through a pre-painted No. 25 sheet metal ridge and slats. The building has a covered area of ??2388.00 m2.
In the case of the repair of toilets at School No. 83 Mesopotamia Argentina, the official budget is 7,197,884.92 pesos, and an execution period of 60 days. The opening of this work had four bidders.
The works will make it possible to carry out the repair of student toilets with the change of the water installation, removing the existing pipes and their discharge tanks to make new pipes for cleaning valves in toilets and urinals, supplied through independent tanks. In addition, ceramic tiles, a new subfloor and floor, new toilets will be placed in all the boxes of each restroom. |
