This Wednesday, June 14, the tender for the resurfacing work of National Route No. 40 was held, between the access to the town of Facundo and the Los Tamariscos area, for which three offers were received.
As reported by the Ministry of Public Works, this is the National Public Tender for the CONTRAT.AR system under Contracting Process No. 46-0074-LPU23 that provides for the resurfacing work on National Route No. 40 over a length of 42 kilometers, between km 1,432.43 and 1,474.71.
On the occasion, three offers were presented, the first one corresponding to the company Choel SRL, which quoted the tasks at $3,450,519,518.01. For its part, the company Serving SRL quoted the work at $3,928,393,372.71. Meanwhile, the company Hidraco SA quoted the work to be carried out at $5,017,772,525.93.

The budget for the work, as of December 2022, is more than $1,820 million pesos and has an execution period of 12 months from the signing of the act of reconsideration.
The works to be carried out consist of the execution of a 6.90-meter-wide asphalt concrete layer, including asphalt emulsion binder irrigation throughout the section.
Prior to the execution of the folder, in certain sectors the demolition and removal of the existing pavement is foreseen in the entire width of the road; the conditioning of the existing granular base on the road, with a contribution of granular material 7.10 meters wide and a primer irrigation with asphalt emulsion. The execution of crack sealing and superficial patching with hot mix asphalt is also contemplated in the sectors in which the removal of the existing pavement is not carried out.

Likewise, the construction of gravel shoulders 2.50 meters wide was projected, in the sectors to be reconstructed. In turn, the execution of a cold microagglomerate on shoulders was contemplated, one meter wide in the entire section.
From now on, the administrative times begin, with a period provided for the bidding companies in case observations arise. Subsequently, the estimation of the offers presented will be carried out by an evaluation commission of the National Road Administration. After this work, which will require approximately 60 days, the award of the work can be made. |
