During the months of June and July 2023, the provincial government plans to tender eight works in the field of sanitary infrastructure with an investment of more than 2,100 million pesos. It will be carried out in towns in the departments of Nogoyá, Villaguay, Paraná, Uruguay and Concordia.

Framed in the plan of works prioritized by Governor Gustavo Bordet, during the months of June and July eight works will be tendered to be carried out in different locations in the departments of Nogoyá, Paraná, Uruguay, Concordia and Villaguay.
"We continue advancing with works that improve and guarantee quality spaces for health care throughout the provincial territory," said the Minister of Planning, Infrastructure and Services, Marcelo Richard.
In this framework, the head of the Planning portfolio gave details of the interventions that will be carried out in various hospitals from the openings. In this regard, he mentioned that "these tenders will allow the execution of expansion works, installation of a centralized oxygen network, restructuring and construction of new sectors, as well as the construction of a new hospital in the city of Villaguay."
The eight works to be tendered in the aforementioned months are to carry out work in the San Blas de Nogoyá, Vecinal San Martín de Hernandarias hospitals, in Justo José de Urquiza in Concepción del Uruguay and in Castilla Mira de Viale; as well as in the Venezuela Health Center of Estación Sosa; in addition to the construction of the new Villaguay Hospital. With an investment of more than 2,100 million pesos, the provincial government will carry out works that improve and strengthen the public health system.
"To reach these instances of opening envelopes, we are going through a path of strong work articulated with the Ministry of Health, where we jointly evaluate priorities and works that will strengthen the health system, not only with infrastructure works such as the new Hospital of Villaguay, but also with extensions of sectors such as Maternity and Neonatology at the Urquiza de Concepción del Uruguay hospital, the new Castilla Mira de Viale clinics, the Masvernat de Concordia Guard service, or in the case of the San Blas de Nogoyá hospital the expansion of the centralized oxygen network and restructuring of outpatient clinics” specified Richard.
The works
In the town of Nogoyá, work will be carried out at the San Blas hospital, through a tender for direct purchase by price comparison, to expand the centralized oxygen network with an official budget of 6,296,504.52 pesos. Likewise, through the call for public bidding, the Restructuring work of outpatient clinics will be carried out -first stage-, with an official budget of 39,728,074.89 pesos.
Likewise, in the Paraná department, various works will be carried out in different locations. For Estación Sosa, the expansion of the Venezuela Health Center will be tendered, with an expected investment of 11,487,459.36 pesos. On the other hand, in the San Martín de Hernandarias Neighborhood Hospital, the completion of the inpatient rooms and health group will be carried out for 27,573,248.51 pesos. In the case of the Castilla Mira de Viale hospital, the envelopes will be opened for the construction of new clinics, whose official budget reaches 57,064,747.96 pesos.
Regarding the works to be carried out in the Concordia and Concepción del Uruguay hospitals, they have to do with the expansion for the Pediatric Guard service in the case of Masvernat, and the restructuring for Hospitalization, Maternity, Neonatology, and complementary areas in the Justo José de Urquiza. Reaching 500 million pesos of investment between both works.
In terms of new hospital buildings, the new Villaguay Hospital seeks to provide adequate infrastructure and comprehensive care services that meet the needs of the population. It will be located in a sector belonging to the current Santa Rosa hospital, facing Belgrano street and surrounded by Héroes de Malvinas street and the opening of an internal street is contemplated as a continuity of Carlos Gardel street.
The building will have a covered area of ??3,375.33 square meters, distributed on the ground floor. The official budget reaches 1,500 million pesos.
