The Maharashtra Krishna Valley Development Corporation (MKVDC) has floated a tender for the construction of pump house, rising main and allied works for Wakurde lift irrigation scheme Part-II (Stage-I) in Shirala & Walwa taluka, Sangli in Maharashtra.
The scope of work involves the construction of a pump house rising main and allied works, including delivery chamber, approach road to pump house, approach road to delivery chamber, Ladewadi-Dhagewadi-Itkare gravity main, Ladewadi-Dhagewadi-Itkare express main, as well as Yedefata-Pokharni and Ladewadi-Shirala closed pipes and their distribution network.
The project, amounting to Rs 386.83 crore, further involves the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the piped distribution network (PDN) system to be carried out five years post work completion and handing over to the WUAs.
