Central de Noticias was able to confirm that these days the municipal secretaries sign the Executive decree that terminates the relationship with the company Escobedo Mariano Mauro, awarded the works in the educational establishment of the CECO neighborhood.
On April 27, within the framework of the Management Report in the Deliberative Council, the Secretary of Government Hilario Galli had announced that he was considering rescinding that contract.
He argued that the works had "a considerable delay." The initial term of work was "120 days", four months, which at this point has tripled.
In this way, less than a month after that advance, the definition is already a fact. The rescission is accompanied by the application of fines to the company, which would reach about 10 million pesos, as indicated to this medium.
The Escobedo Mariano Mauro company is the same company that the Municipality rescinded the construction contract for the industrialized TUVI in September last year. In this way, the same contractor faces its second termination in less than a year. The situation is striking, since there is no other company that has faced instances of this type with the local administration in recent years.

he rumors of termination of the contract for the company Escobedo Mariano Mauro began several months ago. At the beginning of March, Central de Noticias consulted the municipal Executive on the subject, from which it was stated that the evolution of the works was being closely followed, it was recognized that they were behind schedule, although the decision at that time was to uphold the contract with the winning company.
In mid-February 2022, the tender for the "reform and expansion of EET No. 1 in the CECO neighborhood" had been carried out. Two companies were presented and Escobedo Mariano Mauro was the winner with an offer of 25,850,000 pesos.
The work included renovation of mens and womens bathrooms, the inclusion of a bathroom for people with reduced mobility, the execution of a kitchen and a dining room with a storage room and the incorporation of a gallery that articulates these spaces.
In the middle of last year, the mayor Ezequiel Galli was in the construction sector and the importance of the reforms to improve the operation of the educational service was highlighted, especially with regard to the kitchen and dining room service. |
