The Ministry of Public Works of the Nation, through the National Highway Authority, completed the tender for improvements to National Route 178, from Villa Eloísa to Armstrong.
The works tendered this morning include deformation milling, deep patching, reconstruction of the base of the road, resurfacing of the intervened sections, plus the underpinning of shoulders.
The tasks will benefit 22 kilometers, with an execution period of 12 months, which will also include cutting grass and replacing signage and metal railings.
Under an updated reference amount of $1,100 million, three offers were received through the online system www.contratar.gob.ar.
The following were the participating companies and their quotes submitted: EDECA SA ($1,315,157,015.77) – Laromet SA ($1,399,222,307.11) – ROVIAL SA ($1,650,684,828.88)
One point to take into account within the planned works is the reconstruction of the concrete slabs in the accesses and in the RN 178 bridge over the railroad tracks, at the height of Armstrong.
Likewise, the repairs on the asphalt concrete road will cover the most needed points of the section, with interventions that will complete repairs previously made in other sectors.
It is worth mentioning that, recently and until the tendered works begin, the 7th Santa Fe National Highway District maintains the minimum transitability conditions of the corridor with its own personnel and equipment.
Other works to finish and start
The tender finalized today by the Ministry of Public Works of the Nation is part of a series of investments underway and others to be contracted shortly for National Routes in the province of Santa Fe. months more of the National Route Highway No. 34, between RN 19 and Rafaela, including its variant of passage by new trace. New tenders in June
Finally, within the investment program for the National Routes of Santa Fe, the Ministry of Public Works of the Nation established two more tenders within the next month. The first, and most relevant, will be held on June 2 to contract the construction of 39 kilometers of the National Route Highway No. 33, from the access to San Eduardo to Murphy (RP 94), with a bypass through Venado Tuerto . On the other hand, on June 6, also through the online Hire system, the offers will be known within the tender for patching and resurfacing of RN 33, in this case between Zavalla and Pujato.
With everything, from National Highway, the administrative procedures are culminated in the termination of the contract of the RN 33 Highway between Rufino and the access to San Eduardo, disassociation with the contractor for breaches in the execution of this work. Once this legal step has been completed, the construction of the highway will be tendered again before the end of the year, but in two shorter sections to facilitate its execution. The sectors will comprise from Rufino and the Amenábar area, and the second route from Amenábar to the access to San Eduardo.
