Five companies are interested in renovating the four central boulevards The work is financed by the Andean Development Corporation, in agreement with the National Ministry of Public Works.
Five companies presented their economic and technical proposals for the execution of the work that will refunction the four central boulevards of the city.
On Wednesday morning, the folders presented by the construction company Pablo Federico e Hijos SA, Benito Roggio e Hijos SA, the Temporary Business Unit (UTE) made up of Estructuras Saciyf and Marinelli SA, the firm APESA and Arrow SRL were opened.
What comes now is the analysis of the Evaluation Commission on the different proposals to define which will be the firm awarded the project, one of the most ambitious in the second term of Mayor Martín Gill, and which reaches the edge of the beginning in the final stretch of his management.
One thousand three hundred million pesos
The project has an official budget that exceeds 1,322 million pesos, and includes one of the largest works in the city, with the goal of refunctioning and enhancing the four central boulevards, which delimit the Centro neighborhood: Italia-Cárcano , Sarmiento, Spain-Alvear, and Vélez Sarsfield.
All these roads will be equipped with an urban layout of greater accessibility and quality.
The public bidding is coordinated through the Municipal Investment Institute (IMI), and the work is financed by the Andean Development Corporation (CAF), in agreement with the National Ministry of Public Works.
The intervention will be carried out through the Municipal Infrastructure Development Program and its objective is to strengthen safety, roads, accessibility and sustainability.
The main aspects
Luminaires will be arranged until the distribution of 700 led technology modules is reached and there will be new roundabouts at the intersection of boulevards Alvear and Sarmiento and at the intersection of boulevard Italia and Vélez Sarsfield.
For its part, 6,400 linear meters of bike lanes and walkways will be built that will connect the four boulevards, pedestrian crossings in the central flowerbeds through the construction of concrete sidewalks to cross from one roadway to the other, and work will be done on the repair of sidewalks .
New green areas will be created, 380 universal access ramps will be arranged and tactile flooring will be placed for greater accessibility.
There will be nine health posts and new tree species will be planted along with 17,000 bushes with automated irrigation.
