They call for tenders to value the façade of the HIGA in Mar del Plata The Buenos Aires government plans an investment of $71 million. The Buenos Aires Ministry of Health called for tenders for the enhancement of the façade and public spaces of the Hospital Interzonal General de Agudos (HIGA). The project was carried out based on the needs raised by the technical team of the institution, which concluded that the property presents deficiencies in its structure, with a risk of landslides. This would cause injuries to people who circulate in the vicinity of the building, the statement of bases states. In other areas there was also evidence of rainwater leaks. Its prompt repair is necessary, which would provide a solution to the aforementioned problem, achieving the hydraulic closure of the exterior walls, added to the enhancement of its image, it is added. Among the jobs in the portfolio, the rendered surface will first be hydro-washed, which will allow the detachment of loose parts and the visualization of the most problematic sectors. Then, progress will be made on the exterior plaster with the aim of completing those sectors where there were landslides. The missing friezes, cornices, lintels, windowsills and bottom of slabs will be reconstructed so that the surface remains similar to the existing one in the entire building. In the affected sectors and that were reconstructed, two coats of paint will be carried out to promote a complete hydraulic closure. On the other hand, the roofs that serve as passable terraces will be renewed. They will be equipped with lightened subfloors, different levels of elastic hydraulic closures, and polypropylene storm drains with elastic joints that provide greater efficiency and durability. The complete repair will also be carried out, with complete dismantling and complete change of the materials that compose it, of the colonial tile roof. The rafters, boards, insulation and tiles will be recovered. Finally, a new hydro-wash will be done to remove dust and all kinds of dirt on the stone coating. The opening of the bidding envelopes will take place on May 12. The term of work is 120 days. |
