The tender notice for water and sanitation interventions and green spaces in La Viña was published.
The Ministry of Economy and Public Services, through the Secretariat of Financing and Financial Planning, reported that the public tender notice for water and sanitation intervention works and green spaces in the department of La Viña has been published.
Those interested may appear at the Provincial Executing Unit, Comprehensive Habitat Program, Marcelo T. de Alvear Nº 538 until June 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. The envelopes will be opened that same day at the same address at 11:00.
The works to be executed:
Regarding the water and sanitation works, currently the town is supplied with water from the catchment in the place called El Infiernillo, there are no problems with the source, neither in quality nor in quantity, where the adduction is done through pipes up to the existing cistern and is after drip chlorination treatment (Do - Sol system) since it does not require another, it is distributed to the town. Those that do have deficiencies in the supply are the Bº Malvinas Argentinas (former Tierra y Hábitat subdivision) which is located at the intersection of RN 68 and RP 6 on the South East corner, which although it has a distribution network, the link has yet to be made that feeds it, which will be carried out with the corresponding regulation and diversion chambers and the Talapampa area, which is located to the south on RN 68,
Due to the flow capacity and quality of the Infiernillo intake, it is proposed to carry out a link work from the cistern that can supply the aforementioned neighborhood and through a new 9.5 km aqueduct to the town of Talapampa.
At the water service plant, where the cistern and the chlorination box are located, some building repairs must be made (plastering, painting). Also, once the aqueduct work is completed, the existing well will be taken out of service, which will be used for alternative uses (fires, animals, etc.), the trace of the new aqueduct will be carried out by another sector to the existing asbestos cement that will be confined where It is, the new trace contains the respective chambers necessary for its operation, such as the air chambers, the pressure regulation chambers, the splice chambers.
To the north of the town, the Municipality supplies the water service through a deep well located in the El Tunal area, as well as the El Carmen, San Nicolás and Las Costas areas. Failures in the water service arise in the rainy season, when constant power cuts cause the electric pump to burn out, so the control panel will be updated with a protection system and provision of a spare electric pump.
The work proposes spare parts in the pumping well property, control box, improve the conditions of the pumping equipment where it is expected to incorporate a frequency inverter board, spare parts in the storage systems (elevated tanks), one in Bº El Carmen and another in Bº Las Costas, where an extension of the distribution network will also be carried out to connect 16 families that are currently provided with the service through deteriorated pipes, being in addition to improper material what causes losses and contamination of the liquid due to breakages.
Complementary works: to the west of the town and along the entire length where different neighborhoods are located, a ditch runs from North to South that receives post-irrigation water from neighboring farms. When the La Viña River grows during the rainy season, this situation generates flooding in this sector of the town, which worsened over the years, the last episode was with great damage to homes due to the ingress of water, as well as to the streets and some services. Faced with this situation, the Provinces Secretariat of Water Resources carried out the project to improve the West channel, after corresponding hydrological and hydraulic studies, a channel lined with reinforced concrete and a section according to the calculation was chosen.
Green Spaces: A plaza will be built in the subdivision of the Francisco I neighborhood, in the northwestern area of ??the town of La Viña, it allows the design of spaces for different recreational functions, both childrens and health and inclusive games, soccer field, amphitheater and socio-cultural space to the neighborhood community and family recreation.
A first stage was built where some of these projected functions were developed, most of which were not completed, except in the facilities of the different games. The new square has childrens games, sports games, pergolas, concrete benches with wooden seats and space for a soccer field. This second stage contemplates the execution of the pending works to conclude the project.
The other square to be executed will be in the subdivision of Bº Malvinas Argentinas, in the southeast area of ??the town of La Viña, it allows the design of spaces for different functions, sports games, pergolas and tables with benches, as well as childrens and health games and family recreation spaces. Currently the space has sections in poor condition of H° S° roads that were carried out with low levels, which requires demolition to execute it with levels and measures according to the project.
