The mayor of Cañuelas, Marisa Fassi, and the road administrator, Gustavo Arrieta, signed the corresponding contracts for the start of the asphalt work on Camino 72 between National Route 3 and the town of Gobernador Udaondo.
In a meeting held in the municipality, the authorities received Pablo Marcelo Elizalde, from C&E Construcciones SA, and Alfredo Espeche, from Vialme SA, companies that were awarded the tender carried out within the framework of the Federal Road Infrastructure Program for Economic, Social and Productive Development, with financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
The municipal delegate of Udaondo, Emanuel Saiz, and the officials of Vialidad Laura Rial and Roberto Fernández Meire also participated in the meeting.
The paving work, which will begin in a period of no more than 15 days, will extend between Route 3 and Provincial Route 215, in a length of 28.4 kilometers. The execution will be carried out in four sections, which will be worked on simultaneously.
The asphalt concrete road will be 6 meters wide, with 1.5 meter shoulders. The intersections with routes 3, 215 and Provincial Route 16 will also have lighting. The term of work was established in ten months.
"I know the importance that this work has for our residents of the town of Gobernador Udaondo, for whom the way of connecting with the municipality will completely change," said the mayor Marisa Fassi at the end of the meeting.
"It is a work that, due to its magnitude, was very difficult to dream of, and today we will be able to achieve it thanks to the national government, the Highway Administration and the IDB, which guarantees the financing of these works that are so important for rural communities," added the community chief. |
