Tender-new-pavilion-in-the-U32
This noon the opening of envelopes of the public tender for the construction of a new maximum security pavilion in the U32 of Zapala.
Two companies presented themselves: Dinale SA and Codam SA The first firm offered 3,266 million pesos for the works, while Codam presented an offer of 2,581 million pesos. The next step will be the evaluation of technical work teams for the award of the work.
The administrative act took place in the offices of the Ministry of Public Works and was attended by the coordinator of the Security Secretariat, Marcelo Rojas, and the coordinator of the Undersecretary of Security, Efigenia Di Benedetto; the Undersecretary of Public Works, Roberto Deza; and representatives of the bidding firms.
The work in question will have capacity for 26 detainees. It will have two floors with a covered area of ??3,117 square meters. The planned budget is over 1,700 million pesos (value as of September 2022), with an execution period of 600 calendar days.
The pavilion will have a ground floor with 12 cells, each with toilets; day room with kitchen; day patio with pool and sector to hang clothes; surveillance place; shower sector; public bathroom; Nursing; interview office and guard room. Meanwhile, the visitor sector will have a common area, with surveillance; another of contact (marital) and non-contact area.
The upper floor will have 14 cells, each with toilets; personnel sector; monitoring room; Technical floor; ventilation and air extraction equipment; machine room; four checkpoints, two for access control, one for detainees (vehicles) and another for pedestrian visits. The entire property will be closed by walls and three fences of 4 and 6 meters high.
