The provincial government published the call for tenders for the construction of a new building for Secondary School No. 4 "José María Molina" in the town of Ubajay, Colón department. The official budget exceeds 490 million pesos.

The Ministry of Planning, Infrastructure and Services, through the Undersecretary of Architecture and Contractions, published the call for Public Tender for the construction of a new educational building for Secondary School No. 4 "José María Molina" in the city of Ubajay . The work has an official budget of 498,502,029.60 pesos and a term of execution of the works of 365 days.
“School infrastructure is one of the axes of public works prioritized by Governor Gustavo Bordet. The possibility of building new buildings is the decision of the governor, to respond to the educational community, in this case of the school No. 4 of Ubajay. There will be more than 1,500 m2 that will allow the development of educational activities in appropriate spaces” highlighted the Minister of Planning, Marcelo Richard.
The opening of envelopes will take place on May 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the educational establishment, located at Calle Aguaribay No. 41.
Technical details about the work
The project takes place on El Laurel street, in the city of Ubajay. The building will have two entrances, one main from the aforementioned street, and another, secondary, from Chal Chal street. The total area to be executed will be 1,564.60 m2.
The school will have nine common classrooms, a complete laboratory, two workshops, a netbook room, a library and a sports field adapted for different activities.
Technically the building will be executed with traditional materials. The structure will be in reinforced concrete, covered with galvanized iron sheets and porcelain tiles will be used.
