Two months after canceling the award for the sewerage work in the Las Victorias neighborhood due to a budgetary problem, they put the works out to tender again and from the municipality they assure that before winter they will begin to execute them.
The sewage work is one of the claims that the residents of the neighborhood located in the east of the city, have maintained for more than 10 years and especially, in recent times due to the significant housing growth in the sector.
After much waiting, in November 2022 the tender for the work was announced for which Alusa was the only company bidding in the call with a budget greater than the established one.
The work had been approved and was financed by the National Entity for Water Sanitation Works (ENOHSA), although the allocated budget was 317,925,000 pesos.
At the end of November, when the municipality announced the award to the only bidding firm, it indicated that the financing of this important work for the east of the city would be with national and municipal funds and a total amount of $423,894,893.
Last February, the mayor Gustavo Gennuso signed a municipal resolution through which the award was rendered null and void due to "the significant difference between an eventual current value of the work versus the official budget duly approved for financing by ENOHSA."
The resolution stated that "given the incessant inflationary process that generates variations in the prices of inputs over time," it was requested that the award of the tender be annulled.
Now, after the new tender, Alusa is once again the company that won the tender with a budget of $570,746,047 that will be financed by the National Entity for Water and Sanitation Works (ENHOSA). This Monday, in an act in the neighborhood neighborhood council, it was announced that the works will begin to be carried out before winter.
