It involves the construction of a bridge over the Coiruro stream, near the town of Volcán and the reconstruction of a culvert between the cities of Abra Pampa and La Quiaca.
Signing of the agreement for works in the north of the province
The 6th Jujuy National Highway District reports that the contract was signed at the district headquarters with the legal representative of the winning company, JUMI SRL, which will allow the start of work to build a bridge on National Route 9, km 1734 and the replacement of a sewer and its accesses, on the same route at km 1907.
The work on the Coiruro stream has a current amount of $199,852,987.80, in which a reinforced concrete bridge with prestressed beams and indirect foundation will be built. With a span of 20 meters and a free height from the bottom of the beam of at least 3 meters to the natural terrain. The total width of the board will be 17.30 meters with pedestrian sidewalks on both sides, which will facilitate the circulation of pedestrians who circulate in the area.
In addition, the reconstruction of the embankment at its accesses is planned, and a gabion structure for the dissipation of energy and lateral containment of the waters, added to the execution of cleaning works of the Coiruro stream bed.
For its part, the work to begin at km 1907.46 of national route No. 9 reaches a current amount of $86,251,336.34, in which the existing sewer will be replaced by one of reinforced concrete with a width of road of 6.70 meters, and will have sidewalks, railings, and shoulders of 3 meters on both sides of the route.
The engineer Alberto Busignani, head of the 6th Jujuy District of the DNV highlighted that "these works are necessary to reinforce the road safety of the people who circulate on the RN 9 in the Quebrada de Humahuaca and de la Puna, in a road corridor that communicates with the south of Bolivia and with the central region of our country, with a total investment that exceeds 280 million pesos”. |
