Work Detail The Spanish group Negratín has announced the start of work on the Bosques Solares de Bolívar photovoltaic projects, owned by Isagen, made up of five plants that will total 125MWp in total, to be located in the Colombian municipality of Sabanalarga. The Spanish group Negratín, through its subsidiary Negratín Colombia, has begun construction of the Bosques Solares de Bolívar photovoltaic projects, made up of five plants and whose final power will be 125 MWp, which will be deployed in the municipality of Sabanalarga, near Barranquilla, in the department of Atlántico. According to a statement, the EPC (turnkey) contract was awarded in September by Isagen , a company managed by the Canadian fund Brookfield. This project constitutes the first photovoltaic project executed directly by this generator, one of the most important in the country in hydroelectric generation. The contract is associated with another operation and maintenance contract, for two years. While the estimated investment will reach 50 million dollars, it is expected to be completed during this year. Ase also informs that an evacuation infrastructure is currently being carried out, which consists of a 34.5kV/110kV elevation substation, the adaptation of two existing network substations, and a 34.5kV transmission line of more than 8 kilometers. In April 2021, Isagen announced the acquisition of the Sabanalarga solar project that was owned by the companies Green Energy Professional Consulting and Bosques Solares SL, both included within the Spanish group Solaer.
