Work Detail The Atascocita Branch Library recently announced its upcoming programs for September:

Twilight Tales Family Story Time. Mondays at 7 p.m. This is a family story time for all ages.
Mother Goose (Infant Lapsit) . Wednesdays — 11 a.m., Thursdays – 11 a.m. and Fridays — 1 p.m. This is an infant story time featuring songs, nursery rhymes and socialization opportunities. This program is recommended for infants up to 24 months of age.
Tales for Tots (Toddlers). Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m. Toddler story time featuring stories, songs, finger-plays and occasional crafts. This program is recommended for children 2-3 years of age.
Story Pals (Pre-Schoolers). Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m. This is a pre-school story time featuring stories, finger-plays, and occasional crafts. It is recommended for children 3-6 years of age.
Teen Programs
Club Anime!Sept. 6, 7-8:45 p.m. Join us for the latest in anime, manga and Japanese culture.
Knit Wits: Teen Knitting Club. Sept. 27 6-6:45 p.m. Join the Knit Wits, the Atascocita Library Teen Knitting Club, for a cool make and take project. BYON. Bring your own needles.
G.O.A.T. — Gaming On A Table. Sept. 29, 6:30-7:45 p.m. Do you love tabletop games? Do you have a Ticket to Ride? Are you a Mad Quao? Join us for an evening of G.O.A.T. — Gaming On A Table.
Adult Programs
Lunch ‘n’ Lit (Book Club). Sept. 8, 1-2:30 p.m. The Atascocita Library Lunch ’n’ Lit Book Club — Join us as we discuss a good book and feel free to bring your lunch. This month, we’re reading “We Are Not Ourselves“ by Matthew Thomas.
How Will You Pay for College? Sept. 10, 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Join Marty McCain from Key Wealth Strategies during this informative workshop as he shows you how to get money for college, when to start the process, and how to get the most from your effort. This program is open to both teens and adults.
Computer Basics I. Sept. 12, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Learn the fundamentals of using a computer during this class. This class will cover computer parts, using a mouse and keyboard, and other essentials. Computer Class: Microsoft Publisher 2013. Sept. 14, 3-4:30 p.m. Learn the basics of Publisher 2013 during this class. Computer Basics II. Sept. 19, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. More basic skills. Learn what a file and folder is and how you can use them to organize items stored on your computer. Microsoft Word 2013 Basics — Level 1. Sept. 28. 3-4:30 p.m. Learn the basics of PowerPoint 2013 during this class.
