Province finalized the award of the video camera service for the metropolitan area

The provincial government awarded the firm Danaide SA the contracting of the turnkey service for the modernization of the video surveillance system for the cities of Senillosa, Plottier, Vista Alegre and Neuquén capital for a term of 36 months.
The amount of the investment is 11.8 million dollars to be paid in current currency at the selling exchange rate according to the official price the day before the cash payment, a figure that as of February 6, 2023 is equivalent to 2,312 million pesos.
Danaide was the only bidder that appeared in the public tender. With the new project, the capital city will have 1,318 video cameras (currently there are 283) and 26 patent readers; Plottier will have 216 video cameras (today 19 work) and 4 patent readers; Senillosa will have 58 video cameras and 4 patent readers and Vista Alegre will have 24 video cameras and 4 patent readers.
The contracted system includes new software; reconditioning of monitoring centers to add more video cameras.
Throughout the province, the video security system incorporates 2,516 monitoring cameras with an investment of more than 3,300 million pesos.
The initiative is part of the Citizen Security Plan carried out by the Security Secretariat with the aim of strengthening crime prevention through preventive alert and immediate response.
