Companies have been prequalified to bid for 12 building material quarry licenses
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has prequalified 40 companies from the private sector to bid for 12 building materials quarry licenses in new Jeddah Crushers Complex in Makkah region.
The official spokesman for the Ministry, Jarrah bin Muhammad Al-Jarrah, said in a Arabic language press release that the ministry received 52 requests for qualification out of which 40 applications passed the screening criteria.
Key names in the list, released on Thursday, included Asmar Roads Contracting Company; Kayan Al-Hijaz Company for Real Estate; Alishar Contracting Corporation; Al-Hadab Trading and Contracting Company; Al Hilali Trading & Contracting Company;Al-Haytham Mining Company; Saleh Abdulaziz AlRashed & Sons Co (SAR); Omran Al-Modon Contracting Company; Fahd Muhammad Al-Bogami Contracting; Kayan Almutahiden for Mining; Malath; Al-Yamamah Company for Commercial Works and Contracting; Nasser Al-Faraj Contracting Company and LEDCO.
The 12 licenses are split into five for ore and gravel and seven for landfill materials. |
