Work Detail |
The construction project for the Expansion of the 220 kV and 132 kV High Voltage Line between Alumbrera and Belén and new Transformer Stations El Eje and Belén, will enter the International Public Bidding process in the coming days to select a bidder to start construction of the desired work. The energy mega-project is financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and is part of the Federal Plan for Regional Electric Transportation. The term for construction is 36 months and the expected amount is 100 million dollars. Within this framework, the Federal Electric Transportation Trust Fund (FFTEF), whose executive president is Alberto Kozicki, invites eligible bidders to submit sealed bids for the work. The specific experience required of the bidders will be based on the design, construction, supply, complete installation/assembly (civil, electromechanical and electrical) of the execution of works of High Voltage Lines at 132 kV and Transformer Stations at 132 kV or higher. . The Bidding will be carried out in accordance with the International Public Bidding (IPB) procedure indicated in the policies for the Procurement of Works and Goods financed by the IDB, and all bidders from eligible countries may participate in it, as specified in such policies. All offers must be submitted no later than May 24, accompanied by a bid maintenance guarantee for an amount of $900,000,000 million pesos. about the work The work consists of ringing the current radial system that supplies the departments of Belén, Tinogasta, Andalgalá and Pomán from El Bracho, province of Tucumán, building an extension of 30 km of 220KV extra high voltage line that starts at Minera Alumbrera to the town of El Eje, a 220/132/33KV – 90 MVA Transformer Station will be located there, completing the interconnection with the construction of 50 km of 132 kv high voltage line from El Eje to the Belén substation. This mega-work will ensure electricity supply throughout the North of Belén and other departments in the West, having a double supply in the event of an emergency due to the service exit of the El Bracho line. Likewise, the location of the El Eje substation will allow the creation of an important electrical node, with the possibility of injection of renewable energy generation, taking advantage of the quality of solar radiation in the region. The work project also includes the afforestation of 100 hectares in provincial territory. For this reason, the Ministry of the Environment, after a series of studies, incorporated the area along the banks of the El Abra River in Los Altos to carry out afforestation. This afforestation will have additional financing from the IDB, and it is expected that the planting process will begin before the end of the year and will be monitored for 5 years. Within this intervention, the Ministry of the Environment agreed with the municipal nursery to supply native species that will be planted in the area.
