The site visit corresponding to the tender carried out by the Province of Buenos Aires for the 1st Stage of the Building Construction Work in De la Canal was carried out. There were two interested companies present and on February 22 the offers will be announced.
As planned and published on the official sites of the General Directorate of Culture and Education, today between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. the regulatory work visit was completed on the property where Primary Schools No. 15, Secondary School No. 13 operate. and the De la Canal Kindergarten No. 921.
The DPIE Construction Inspectors, the School Counselor Diana Balbín, the Directors of the three Educational Establishments and representatives of two construction companies participated in it.
On February 22, it will be known if there are offers and the bidding continues its course for the award of the works that have an official amount of $ 176,751,209, 49.
The School Counselor was optimistic about the presence of companies interested in participating in the tender, and also about the possibility that the Province has given of being able to count on a project with such an important amount: "The School Councils have a contracting capacity to works of up to 40 million, approximately. The stage that is being tendered today has a planned work period of 360 days, once the award is made. That is: when we already know who is the company responsible for executing it. When we have resolved this, it will be time to continue working in the corresponding areas to guarantee the best working and study conditions for students and teachers, while the Works are carried out. We know how necessary it is to improve school buildings, and we also know that these are times to accompany the communities while the work is carried out. Our best efforts will be there, because we know that this path leads us all to see decent and safe buildings in De la Canal.
The current work includes the construction of the four classrooms with units (management, secretariat, preceptory), sanitary group, a kitchen and a dining space.
