Work Detail |
The construction of the sewage drains and treatment plant is a work of great relevance for the population of the northern town since at present there is a lack of this sanitation system that undoubtedly improves the quality of life of the inhabitants and the care of the atmosphere. The infrastructure projected and planned by the Provincial Water Administration (APA) of the Ministry of Public Works and Services of the Government of La Pampa, has a budget of $640 million (values ??of August 2022) and a term in the works of 720 days. It is the national government through ENOHSA (National Entity for Water Sanitation Works) that finances and bids for this work. ENOHSA shares the objective of the Government of the Province to reach 100% of drinking water coverage and the greatest possible coverage of sewage networks, so that all the inhabitants enjoy essential public services that contribute to their well-being and quality of life. , prioritizing health care and environmental preservation. The construction of the Rancul Sewerage Network and Treatment Plant arises from the need to have a safer sanitation system compared to the current system in which sewage effluents generated in homes, businesses and institutions are disposed of subsoil through individual treatment systems and final disposal to the subsoil through absorbent well or filter ditch, intermediating pre-treatment in septic chamber. The sanitation works projected for the town are basically made up of a network of sewer collectors installed per street with their corresponding manholes, including the corresponding household connections, pumping stations and conduction to the treatment plant, where the treatment system is located. , Initially, the area called First Stage Main Basin will be carried out, which will be executed immediately and jointly with the first treatment module. In this first stage of the work, it is planned to enable some 15,532 meters of sewerage network in accordance with what is indicated in the plans of this tender. The network will be executed with PVC sewer pipes, integrated elastic joint, in diameters of 160 mm, 200 mm, 250 mm and 315 mm. During this stage of operation, 890 home connections will be linked to the system, a main pumping station and a PVC drive pipe of some 3,785 meters in length have been planned, which directs all domestic sewage drainage to the treatment plant. The Main Pumping Station will be located in a fraction of the municipal athletics property, located at the intersection of Roque Sáenz Peña and Juan Domingo Perón streets. From there the raw sewage impulsion pipe will depart towards the Treatment Plant to be located on a property adjacent to RN 188 and Camino Rural. In the first stage, three pumping equipment of the submersible motor type, suitable for sewage, will be installed. Two of the teams will be on duty and one on reserve. The Treatment Plant will be made up of two treatment lines with a unitary treatment capacity that is equivalent to a population of around 3,340 inhabitants for each module. The works were designed to meet the needs of the projected population in 20 years. They also include complementary works on the treatment plant premises, the construction of service rooms (office, guard, warehouse and machine room), perimeter fencing of the plant premises, internal roads, dosing equipment, laboratory kits, supply of chemical products and landscaping of the plant premises.
