Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) has floated tender for the construction of six-lane HL/extra-dosed cable bridge on river Ganga in Patna, Bihar on EPC basis.
The works involve the construction of six-lane HL/extra-dosed cable bridge parallel to the western side (180 m upstream) of Digha-Sonepur rail-cum-road bridge built on river Ganga on NH-139W.
The estimated value of the contract is Rs 2,635.89 crore.
The completion period is 42 months, whereby maintenance work is to be carried out for 120 months from the date of completion.
