One of Africas EPC and O&M players in Solar PV is looking to hire a self-motivated and highly organised O&M Engineer.
DEADLINE: 23 February 2023
Responsibilities include supporting the head of O&M with activities such as managing the O&M field technicians, providing oversight and technical support to O&M field technicians, ensuring technical compliance of all field technicians, ensuring efficient and compliant written reports are delivered timeously, analysing plant performance data and ensuring that all plants are performing according to SLA regulations and assisting with all contractual O&M activities.
Qualification
• BTech Degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering (BTech, BEng, MEng or similar)
• Wiremans License
• Project Management courses would be beneficial
Experience
• 3-5 years of experience as an O&M engineer
• Experience in the commissioning, troubleshooting and replacing of units
• Highly capable of interpreting solar PV data experience with monitoring solar projects on various systems and products such as Huawei, SMA, Solar Edge, Tesla Powerhub, Meteocontrol and others
• Experience in writing technical reports
• Extremely detail-orientated
• Driven, with a passion for establishing and following processes
Skills
• Proficient in all MS Office applications
• Willingness to travel and a valid passport
• Drivers license |
