The first tender for Mumbai Metro Line 12, also known as the Kalyan-Taloja Metro Line 12 project has been announced with bids scheduled for opening by February 2. Following this, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) will select the most suitable contractor for the project’s construction. As a part of the procedure, after the appointment of the consultant, the project will offer an invitation to other tenders, including the civil work order. By November, the project aims to have begun construction works. The project’s scope of work features in-depth, design consultancy for architectural as well as building services. These will include civil, electrical, and mechanical works for stations, auxiliary structures, and depots. The services will also be for staff quarters, as well as the operation control center. |
