The works to improve Rocas sewage network are progressing within the established deadlines.
This is the works plan announced by the provincial government at the beginning of this year for Roca, with a complementary nature to the Direct Sewage Drainage Plan, which the national government put out to tender in April. Three companies carry out the repairs, which will benefit different sectors of the city.
On the one hand, the company Arideros completed the replacement of the sewer collector on Uruguay Street between Italia and Belgrano and left Uruguay Street running hydraulically between Belgrano and Buenos Aires. In addition, they sawed the pavement in the sector that will replace the sewer collector on Tucumán street, between Chacabuco and La Pampa. These works are framed in the private tender 5/22 with a provincial investment of $32,225,882.
Another of the companies in charge of carrying out the repairs is Rimsol, which is in charge of 4 sectors. On Urquiza streets, between Padre Nazario and Villegas, the replacement of 60 meters of collector was concentrated, they also compacted the soil and replaced the affected pavement.
In addition, the contracted firm is carrying out the necessary procedures to begin the replacement of the sewer collector on Buenos Aires street between Chula Vista and Brazil. This work executed through the Private Bid 04/22, implies a provincial investment of $23,340,365.
Rimson also plans to begin the replacement of the sewer collector on Avenida JA Roca, between July 9 and May 25. This work will begin once the work of the private tender 04/22 is finished. It implies a provincial investment of $7,721,244.93.
The last work awarded to that firm will be carried out in Jujuy street between Antártida Argentina and
Viedma, which includes a provincial investment of $80,511,935. According to the Aguas Rionegrinas (ARSA) team, the award has already been made, the contract has been signed and the necessary procedures are being carried out to begin the work that is expected to begin in the short term.
Another work that is about to start is the replacement of 123 meters of sewage collector on Calle 9
de Julio between España and Avenida JA Roca. It is awarded to the company Arideros and
the work contract has already been signed. It implies a provincial investment of $18,901,858.
Regarding the work that is being carried out in parallel on Avenida Roca, between Artigas
and Alsina streets, 100% of the pipes on the west side and the east side have already been replaced, two
new manholes have been built and work is underway. concrete work, which already has 70% of the sector covered. The works are in charge of the company Coin and have a provincial investment of $19,248,376. It is expected to finish in the next few days.
Once the aforementioned work is finished, the company awarded Coin will begin with the
replacement of 110 meters of sewage collector on Calle España between Artigas and Alsina. It
will imply a provincial investment of $9,718,106.
