| Work Detail | The Management of NICON Insurance Company has revealed its plan to partner with the Bauchi State Government towards improving its Internally Generated Revenue (IGR). This was disclosed by the Assistant General Manager (AGM) of the company, Alhaji Abdulrahman Muhammad when he led a delegation to the state on a courtesy visit yesterday. ? He said that NICON with over 50years experience is ready to partner with the state government to overcome the financial challenges facing the state. Alhaji Muhammad explained that NICON intends to offer 10 different policies aimed at improving the revenue base of the state. He added that the company has compulsory 3rd party insurance cover to do away with the roadside insurance as well as special package for group of state executive council members and civil servants in case of accident as practice in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other countries. The NICON AGM pointed out that the company has students welfare insurance scheme where parents can pay a token to take care of their wards studies even after the death of their parents, as well as the risk management solution to state assets against natural disasters. Responding, the Acting Head of Service, Alhaji Liman Bello thanked the company for the visit, pointing out that considering the global changes in the world, state government may consider the policies of the company. He therefore requested the company to forward their comprehensive submission to enable him brief the state Governor on his return. |
