In this regard, the director of Sanitary Works, Luis Trupiano stressed that "after a long time the community of Seguí will be the beneficiary of this pipe replacement, which will improve the standard of living and health for the population, since it will not cause spills or bad odors on public roads.
In this regard, the official explained that "almost 80 percent of the Seguí network was built between 1980 and 1984, and this replacement will allow replacing the existing network and home connections."
For the execution of the tasks for the Replacement of Sewer Drainage Pipes in Seguí, the company that will be in charge of the works is Del litoral Obras, Servicios y Montajes SA It is estimated a period of 180 days and the expected investment is 73,944,993, 97 pesos.
The purpose of this project is to replace the existing collector network and household connections with PVC pipes with slip joints with rubber rings. 80% of the Seguí collection network was built between 1980 and 1984 with simple concrete pipes,
while the remaining 20% ??was built later and
PVC pipes were used.
Most of the network is installed on sidewalks with trees. Currently the collecting network is collapsing due to the effects of the gases produced by the effluents. For this reason, the main collectors and maximum sewer are being replaced. This work includes the replacement of the sewer pipes, using the existing manholes. Existing home connections will also be replaced.
There are two manholes that need to be repaired, located at the intersection of Libertad and Dorrego street; in calle Libertad and San Martín. The works will be carried out by the Municipality of Seguí, in the area of ??the streets: to the Northwest by Belgrano street and to the West by Aconcagua street. |
