Work Detail |
At a steady pace, the Government of the province is advancing with the execution of the paving work of provincial route 6.
Within this framework, the general administrator of the Provincial Highway Administration, Hugo Varela, visited and verified the work being carried out on the section that will join the towns of Las Piedritas and Sachayoj (in the province of Santiago del Estero) which has a 23% of its execution.
"This is a key work that, in addition to strengthening the road communication channels, will strengthen the productive activity and development of the entire region," said engineer Varela.
The route visited corresponds to section 1 of the paving of route 6 and complementary works such as the hydraulic adaptation of the area; while section 2 contemplates the western access to Las Breñas.
"The first stretch of the project will connect the Las Piedritas quarry with Sachayoj, generating an interprovincial corridor for the exchange of primary production between Chaco and Santiago del Estero," said the DVP administrator.
With a budget of more than 3,800 million pesos, the work is carried out through a collaboration between the Provincial Highway Department and the National Highway Department, through the company Vial Agro SA, under the supervision of engineer Carlos Irala.
"It should be noted that said project is carried out thanks to the efforts made by Governor Jorge Capitanich, before national organizations, to respond to the historical claims of the inhabitants of the southwest of Chaco," added Varela.
