The Government of the province of Corrientes, through the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, carried out the public bidding for the land works of the new Ituzaingó port, which includes the second stage.
According to what was officially reported, the official budget for the work is estimated at $1,959,448,728 and the bidders that submitted to the Bid are JCR SA and Panedile Argentina.
The works include the access road from the roundabout to the entrance to the port; entrance and exit gates and installation of access control boxes; loading yards; internal circulation streets; buildings to house the administration and services for the port staff (with its parking for private cars); the sewerage network for buildings; storm drains; Street lighting; electrical network; and the fire system.
Present on the occasion were the Secretary of Coordination and Planning of the Province, César Bentos; the executive head of the Provincial Executing Sub Unit (SUEP), under the Ministry of Finance Claudio Feletti, among others.
The coastal works, which include the pier, sheet piling, and coastal protection, are underway as part of the first stage, as are the construction works for the Industrial Park infrastructure, which is being carried out on the same property located in the Ituzaingó city. |
