The works seek to ensure trafficability and improve the infrastructure for drainage and road safety in a 16-kilometer section in the southern area of ??the Vera department.
The act.
Chaired by the ministers of Infrastructure, Public Services and Habitat, Silvina Frana, and of Production, Science and Technology, Daniel Costamagna, envelopes were opened with offers for the construction of a granular stabilizer on Provincial Route No. 87s between National Route No. 11 and the establishment of the towns Cooperative.
They were accompanied by the administrator of the Provincial Road Administration, Oscar Ceschi, the senator for the Vera department, Osvaldo Sosa, and the community president of Margarita, Ariel Bolaño.
THE WORK
The route to be intervened is located about 28 kilometers south of the city of Vera, will have an extension of 16,000 meters and a road width of 6 meters, with 3-meter shoulders and new metal defense railings in different sectors.
On the road, the scarifying and recompacting of the seat base will be carried out, to later develop a gravel rolling surface 20 centimeters thick. In addition, among the main works, new transversal and lateral concrete culverts will be built, new wire fences and gates will be placed, vertical signaling of the entire section and the elevation of existing power lines.

With an execution term set at 12 months, 4 offers were submitted: PONCE CONSTRUCCIONES SRL quoted $1,192,636,457.70; UT MEN INGENIERÍA SA – FERRER SA quoted $1,112,220,828.-; MUNDO CONSTRUCCIONES SA quoted $1,257,306,948.-; and a fourth and last offer corresponding to the firm UT COCYAR SA - EMPRESA CONSTRUCTORA PILATTI SA who quoted $1,153,740,559.-
Minister Frana said: “A few weeks ago we showed everyone the works that we were going to do, and today, after a few days, we are already bidding for them. We do not do it as advertisements, but with the commitment to comply with the word, and above all with the works that each inhabitant of our province needs. This has to do with the objectives of Governor Omar Perotti, to generate roots, and the necessary conditions so that people can develop in the place where they were born with the same opportunities as in other places in the province, with more territorial balance.
And he added: "That is why we invest in places where there are probably few votes, but we understand the specific reality of each town, the needs of the people, and that is the engine for which we really work: for our people," Frana closed.
For his part, Minister Costamagna said: "I do not believe there is a cooperative structure like the one in the province of Santa Fe, because what is produced here, such as corn, wheat, fodder, and each of these projects generates employment and a very important added value, because it will also allow entrepreneurs to invest and incorporate technologies into their production processes. The challenge ahead is to search for new markets and new business options, in addition to support in production and industrial processes."
In his turn, the administrator Ceschi commented: “we seek to do the works that the people need and allow the towns to develop. This is very good news for the entire department and particularly for the commune of Margarita because with these interventions we provide them with security to connect the rural area with the main artery of the provincial north, which is Route 11. Strengthening the province and the provincial north is allow families to settle down, greater production, job creation, and that is how the northern towns will grow.”
Subsequently, Senator Sosa said: “I am infinitely grateful to our governor for having an inclusive look for our north, because we were a department that was postponed and today we are a department that is empowered with many works in progress. Very happy with this new road that will allow many families to have road connectivity in good condition, especially when the rains occur.
And finally, Mayor Bolaño stated: “A wonderful day for our town, a productive and hard-working district, and these works come to repair something historic, and today beginning to make this dream possible. Very grateful for being able to count on this work, which will help the development of this community, to improve not only productive but also social activity."

The tender ceremony was also witnessed by the mayor of Calchaquí, Rubén Cuello, the secretaries of Rural Infrastructure, Matías Giorgetti, and of Territorial Development and Roots, Fabricio Medina, the undersecretary of Strategic Planning, David Priolo, the president of the Mixed Agricultural Cooperative of Margarita, Rubén Carrón, among other authorities.
