GameChange Solar has designed its new fixed tilt racking system to maximize module density, with a ground cover ratio of up to 98%. The system costs $0.039/W in the US and $0.029/W in other markets, for a typical wind load of 105 mph.
GameChange Solar has introduced a new fixed tilt shelving system for floor mounted projects. It has a landscape configuration of 5 degrees or 10 degrees from east to west.
The MaxDensity system is designed to maximize the number of modules placed on a site, with a ground cover rate of up to 98%. It can be installed in blocks of up to 7 MW, in configurations of up to 12,000 modules. It is compatible with all framed modules available on the market, according to the company.
The system can withstand winds up to 120 mph and heavy snow loads. The company states the cost is $0.039/W in the US and $0.029/W worldwide for a typical 105 mph wind load with moderate soil corrosion.
GameChange Solar claims that the new system is easy to install.
“MaxDensity has far fewer part types than a typical fixed-tilt racking system, making it faster than conventional fixed-tilt racking,” it said in a statement. “No heavy equipment like pile drivers is required, only hand tools are needed.” |
