The state oil company Pampetrol, which operates in the Argentine province of La Pampa, has announced the award for the provision of equipment and construction of the 7 MW Victorica solar park to the company Ingalfa. It will be the first photovoltaic project that will provide electricity to the Pampas provincial system.
The decision comes within the framework of a public tender in which four companies participated.
According to an official statement from the government, Ingalfa was awarded for occupying the best place in the order of merit; in second place was the temporary union between the firms Environment and Energy and Riva. Meanwhile, the evaluation commission rejected the proposal from Powerchina Sucursal Argentina, because it was "made up of many dollarized components", and from Teyma Abengoa - Chint Electrics "because of the high cost of the offer presented".
It is ensured that to make its decision the commission "took into account the technical background of the companies, the work period, the installed capacity, the energy offered and the economic proposal."
"The selected offer -continues the information- is the most convenient in its technical and economic aspects, with an amount of work that amounts to 8,168,620 dollars and an estimated execution period of 270 days".
When the call for tenders was announced , last July, it was clarified that it was about "the provision of equipment and materials, construction, assembly and commissioning of a Photovoltaic Solar Park of 7 MW of nominal power, in the town of Victorica, under the Full EPC – Turnkey modality”, and that “the contractor must guarantee the productivity of the park, after which its operation is transferred to Pampetrol”.
This tender is presented as part of the energy development plan promoted by the government of La Pampa, a province located in central Argentina. |
