In October, the renovation of the water network in Colonia Barón is tendered.
The work has a budget of almost 250 million pesos and was designed to cover the needs of the population projected for 20 years.
Governor Sergio Ziliotto signed the Decree by which he authorizes the call for bids for the work of "Renovation of the Potable Water Network Second Stage of Colonia Barón", which will involve an investment of close to $250 million.
The presentation of the call for bids will take place on October 21 at 10:00 at the Colonia Barón Municipal Recreational Center. The work has an official budget of $239,428,828 and a work term of 360 days.
The objective of the works is to improve service performance by replacing obsolete pipe sections with insufficient diameters, to which is added the placement of a valve to regulate pressure.
The work was designed to meet the needs of the population projected for 20 years, including the placement of 21,003 meters of PVC pipes with diameters of 63mm, 75mm, 110mm, the linking of 914 home connections and the installation of 14 hydrants for fire protection.
It also contemplates the repair of sidewalks, speed bumps, gutter cordon and pavements that are intervened. In addition, a pressure regulating valve will be installed on the section of pipe that links the north and south sectors of the town, delimited by the railroad tracks.
In this way, pressures can be controlled, optimizing service conditions for all users. As in the case of all public works promoted by the provincial government, the hiring of local labor is anticipated for the execution of the different tasks.
Public works is one of the fundamental bastions in local and regional economies because it generates genuine work, economic movements in the areas of construction and in those related to daily needs.
The drinking water renovation work for Colonia Barón is extremely important because it is necessary to adapt the network to the current needs of the population, providing a product of quality and quantity necessary for life and social development, both personal and community. |
