Work Detail |
This work has a projection horizon of 20 years, which will allow the municipality to reach 100% coverage in the future. The execution of the first sewage network in Colonia Elisa, Sargento Cabral department, Chaco, exceeded 18% progress. It is a work that is developed within the framework of the PROFESA program, thanks to an investment that exceeds $398 million. Once completed, 4,150 residents will stop using absorption wells installed in each of the homes, avoiding the risk of groundwater contamination. The project, with an execution period of 16 months, involves the installation of 1,035 home connections and some 28,875 m of pipes. This will allow the town to reach 80% of the current population, with the possibility of, in the future, carrying out extensions and reaching 100%. The new infrastructure, once completed, has a projection horizon of 20 years, and can reach a population of 6,427 inhabitants. Specifically, the development of the work is planned in two stages: in the first, two collecting basins with their lifting stations and impulsion systems will be built. In addition, the main evacuation conduit will be built to the treatment plant and a single series of stabilization ponds. In the second, the remaining line of treatment will be carried out. |
