The interim governor, Vice Governor Osvaldo Jaldo, made the arrangements with the National Secretariat of Public Works.
Continuing with a series of meetings held in Buenos Aires in order to speed up works for the province, this Tuesday Osvaldo Jaldo held a meeting with Carlos Rodríguez, Secretary of Public Works of the Nation and Gustavo Villa Uría, Undersecretary of Water Resources of the Nation. .
In the conclave, the president together with national officials agreed to sign the agreements for $1,800 pesos for the start of work on the following storm drain channels that have already been tendered and awarded:
Drainage Canal Matriz El Badén, for $52,501,654, 57 from the Municipality of Alberdi
Drainage Canal Puente de Oga, $48,601,273, 91 from the Municipality of Alberdi
Embankment and defenses of the Conventillo River, $681,933,712, 92 from the department of Chicligasta
Protection of the Left Bank and expansion of the Marapa River $162,000,277.44 from the Graneros Department
El Tejar Arroyo South Relief Channel $846,759,388.05 from the Municipality of Monteros
“These works are essential to prevent flooding in the municipalities and departments mentioned that thanks to the accompaniment of the President of the Nation, Alberto Fernández, and the management of the Chief of Staff, Juan Manzur, are a reality for the people of Tucumán”, highlighted the interim governor.
In addition, the meeting analyzed the status of storm drainage projects in the Municipalities of Alberdi and San Miguel de Tucumán.
