The Secretary of Water Resources of the Province, Edgar Castello, and the Secretary of the Government of the Municipality of Córdoba, Miguel Siciliano, led the opening of offers corresponding to the tender for a work that will allow solving the inconveniences associated with the drainage of rainwater in the Quintas de Argüello, Villa Solferino, El Refugio and La Salle neighborhoods.
The project is called “Storm drainage of the northwest sector, Viracocha street conduit (section: Av. Ricardo Rojas – Río Suquía)” and contemplates the execution of an underground drainage of approximately 2,320 meters, with a predominant north-south direction.
The trace of the drainage begins in Huayna street, upstream of the intersection with the railroad tracks, in the north lane of Av. Ricardo Rojas. Continue one block along Huayna street until the intersection with Domingo Albariños, where it heads west-east until the intersection with Viracocha. At this point it turns 90° again to return to the north-south direction through Viracocha, maintaining these conditions until it is discharged into the Suquía River.
At the intersection of the stretch of Viracocha street with Raymond Poincare street, a drainage conduit will be connected, which will begin at the intersection of Huayna and Divino Maestro streets, continued along Huayna street until the intersection with Raymond Poincare until intercepting and discharging into the conduit. of Viracocha street.
This work is included in a larger project, whose future connections will benefit the Villa Rivera Indarte, Villa Allende Parque, Villa Serrana, Quisquisacate and La Catalina neighborhoods.
The official budget is 760,172,518 pesos, with an execution period of eight months.
