The work has an official budget that exceeds 753 million pesos.
It will make it possible to reduce flooding and significantly reduce flows that drain downstream.
In the Ministry of Public Services, the act of opening offers corresponding to the tender for the work “Systematization and water management in basins in the center of the Province; systematization and ordering of the southern contribution basin from Córdoba to Reviglino street”.
The project will allow the capture, conduct and regulation of the flows generated throughout the supply basin, for which an underground drainage of approximately 4,000 meters (west-east direction) will be developed, a regulation work, a pumping system, and a second underground section of 1,700 meters, downstream.
The drainage route will begin at Madre Sacramento street, corner of Camino San Carlos, continuing south along Bernardo OHiggins street until its intersection with Mauricio Reviglio street, where it turns west-east and continues until Camino a 60 Cuadras.
At this point, a conduit will also be connected to the Road 60 Blocks from 350 meters downstream of the aforementioned discharge point. After the intersection of both conduits, the drainage will continue north on Camino a 60 Cuadras for one block and then turn east to take Av. Idelfonso Munecas. It will continue on this street until its intersection with Carlos Forest, where it will turn north until it empties into the El Quebracho neighborhood regulation reservoir.
It should be noted that the official budget is 753,437,424 pesos and the execution period is eight months.
The Secretary of Water Resources of the Province, Edgar Castelló, and the Secretary of Government of the Municipality, Miguel Siciliano, participated in the act.
