With a total investment of just over $98,000,000, the Municipality will acquire new machinery for the use of the Urban Services area and the Road Network Directorate, for which a tender was held on Thursday afternoon.
After the opening of envelopes, with the presence of authorities, it was found that four companies submitted offers for the different items of this tender.
Navitrans de Argentina SA ($80,000,000 for items 1 and 4 and an alternative offer of $88,000,000 with a 30% advance and 70% upon delivery of the goods), Vialerg SA ($146,904,000 for all items), Vial Truck SA ($12,090,000 for items 3 and 5), and Econovo de Oscar Scorza Equipos y Servicios SRL ($22,680,400 for items 2, 3 and 5).
The machinery to be purchased is four 0Km chassis, a compactor box, a container lifting equipment, two dump boxes and a cart. The funds for this purchase come from a loan that the Municipality signed with Banco Provincia through an agreement.
Both the Secretary of Public Works, Guillermo Candia, and the Director of Vehicle Maintenance, Norberto Larocca, highlighted the importance of this incorporation of equipment to improve the services provided on public roads and improve the vehicle fleet, to respond to a growing city.
For his part, the mayor José Luis Salomón commented that last year they had begun efforts to obtain this loan from Banco Provincia, in principle to obtain a greater amount of machinery, and that they already have the funds for this purchase but with inflation now there are less equipment that will add. He also indicated that they will evaluate the situation to finalize this tender, although he anticipated that the Municipality will probably have to put the remaining money together with that provided by the bank loan. |
