The global intervention is almost 127 million pesos. In the annexes of the contract signed with the successful bidder, the expenses of each work are listed: for the removal of pavements, curbs and old sidewalks, columns and perimeter fence, about $7 million. For new pavement, underlayment and tile, nearly $9 million.
Any more or less attentive neighbor, when passing through the south entrance of the “Gral. Manuel Belgrano », you will be able to see the movement of the workshop and several sectors cordoned off, others already intervened. The repair work of the local bus station was tendered and awarded to the company Coemyc SA, and the work has already begun. The total investment for the entire work is 26,708,562.08 pesos.
The projection was to award the work the first week of July "and finish it in November, before the strong season at the end of the year and January," Mariano Granato, general secretary of the Municipality, had told El Litoral. The remodeling has a term of execution of five months, for which if there are no contingencies and imponderables, the stated objective could be fulfilled.
In the meantime, it is interesting to "dissect" this complex work in each of its items, or rather, the most important. Each point of the work appears in the Annex within the contract signed between the Municipality and the contractor company, on July 14. All the conditions for the execution of the works, the duties and obligations of the parties, among other administrative aspects, are established there (Decree No. 00236 of last month).
Countdown to the start of work at the Santa Fe Bus Terminal
First thing, outside
In concept of breakage and removal of concrete pavement outside the terminal, and concrete cordons; sidewalks, floors and subfloors; demolition of the concrete staircase, removal of public lighting columns and the perimeter fence -etc-, around 6,700,000 pesos will be spent.
For the placement of the interlocking pavement (20 by 10 by 8 centimeters) at the overpass and at the entrance to the parking lot; For the execution of concrete ramps for the elevated crossings, the roadway and the concrete cordons (straight and curved), among other topics, some 8,700,000 pesos will be allocated.
For the subfloor to be placed (about 2,500 square meters), 8,286,069 pesos will be invested, and for granite tiles of 40 by 40 centimeters (in different types) about 13,500,000 million pesos.
The execution of the concrete storm drain will demand 5,399,200.17 pesos; the ditching and laying of conduits, almost 2 million pesos; and for the provision and execution of cameras and covers of 40 by 40 centimeters, just over 1.2 million.

Likewise, the pedestrian crossings on the road will demand 1,948,971.70 pesos; the vertical signaling of 80 by 60 centimeters; 47,447.64 pesos, and yellow road paint for laces, 663,480.95 pesos.
Regarding the furniture, the provision and placement of waste baskets (8 units) will cost almost 250,000 pesos; the provision and placement of bollards of stamped sheet metal (91 units), 2,434,516.63 pesos; for the purchase and placement of bicycle racks (22 units), the investment will be 1,818,095 pesos; and the relocation of the parking deck (bases, concrete shaft and PVC tarpaulin) will require $2,583,981.30.
Inside
Regarding what will be done inside the local bus station -according to the annex- the costs will vary. For example, for the demolition of floors and subfloors in the hall (235 square meters), 668 thousand pesos will be invested; in masonry demolition, almost 550 thousand pesos; in the placement of compact granite mosaics of 30 by 30 centimeters (over 200 square meters), almost 1,573,000 pesos; and for a reinforced concrete bench in the circular flowerbed, more than 2 million pesos will be invested.
A total of 11,545,446 pesos will be spent on the removal of the entire existing electrical system and the placement of the new one (plus the placement of all devices, including the removal or relocation of air conditioners).
The supply and the drip irrigation system on the green facade will demand 3,414,493.77 pesos. And the landscaping and the interior flowerbed with its green wall will cost just over 487 thousand pesos. But the total of the interior interventions, will demand 35,070,438 pesos. It is the largest investment within the total of items, and represents 27.68% of the total budget, to give a new life to the Santa Fe bus terminal. |
