The expansion of the sewage collectors is carried out thanks to an investment of more than $126 million and will allow a 40% increase in the right to sanitation.
The work to expand the sewage networks in Firmat, General López department, Santa Fe, reached a physical progress of 59%. It is a work carried out within the framework of the PROFESA program thanks to an investment from the National State through ENOHSA that exceeds $126 million. Once completed, it will increase access to sanitation by 40%.
Specifically, the project, which in its execution generates 50 jobs, will benefit 4,000 residents of the La Patria and La Quemada neighbourhoods. It involves the installation of more than 10,000 meters of PVC collectors of different diameters, 1,032 household connections, 90 manholes and 619 crossings, and the closing of cesspools.
The work unfolds, to the north, along Quemada, French, Estrada, Mosconi, Buenos Aires and Moreno streets; to the south, by Zurita street; to the west, by Roque Sáenz Peña avenue; and to the east, by Colón Boulevard. The new networks will discharge the sewage liquid in the lifting station, located on Calle 1º de Mayo and Boulevard Colón. |
