Province began drinking water work for Bolívar
The works will benefit more than 26,000 inhabitants
The Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Services of Buenos Aires, through the Undersecretary of Water Resources, began the work "Reconditioning of the drinking water system in San Carlos Bolívar" . The works to be carried out by the contractor MIAVASA SA have an investment of $291,373,334.36 and seek to benefit more than 26,000 inhabitants.
The purpose of the work is to section off the network for possible repairs, guarantee the necessary service pressures and flows, installing lock valves at different points in the network to optimize their operation. It should be noted that the network is divided into five zones called: Urban Plant, South, East, North and West.
The works involve an area of ??800 hectares and include the construction of a new trunk network in the area called the urban plant, improvements to the network in the North Zone, and connection of the existing pipes to the new trunk network to feed the North networks, West, South and East.
In total, 12,100 meters of PVC sewage pipes, 90 valves, accessories and associated special parts and a joint will be installed. In turn, the excavation and filling to be carried out will be 13,700 m³, and 3,430 m² of sidewalks and pavements will be lifted and repaired.
In this regard, the Undersecretary of Water Resources, Guillermo Jelinski, expressed: "It is a very important work for Bolívar that will provide water to the entire town, guaranteeing flows and pressures in the supply" and added that "it is a management of the mayor Pisano that responds to the request of Governor Axel Kicillof to reach all Buenos Aires with drinking water and sanitation. |
