Following the Governments announcement, this Monday the decree came out that grants two companies the master plan in that area of ??the dam.

The adjudication of the comprehensive project for the development of Perilago Potrerillos was made official to the companies Potrerillos Resort SA and MendoTravel SRL, which will be in charge of executing the comprehensive plan in that area.
Through decree 1187, published this Monday in the Official Gazette, the announcement made last week by the provincial government was formalized.
After the Mendoza Fiduciaria public tender held in August last year, the Government awarded the proposal for the design, development and execution of the Master Plan for the exploitation of the new tourist area, which was now made official by the document that bears the signatures of the governor Rodolfo Suarez and the Minister of Planning and Infrastructure, Mario Isgró.
In this way, Mendoza will have a comprehensive project for the entire Perilago, which will guarantee free public access to the coast.
The companies that were chosen, Potrerillos Resort SA and MendoTravel SRL, must develop tourism and sports infrastructure, in addition to the existing services provided by windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing, rowing and diving clubs in the sector.
The estimated investment is 10,000,000 dollars for the first two years and more than 30,000,000 dollars for the next 30 years.
The decree explains that a Technical Advisory Commission is created that will serve "assist the trustee for the stages after the award."
This will be made up of the same six organizations that analyzed the bidders proposals (Integrated Evaluation Commission): the Environment and Territorial Planning Secretariat, with a representative from the Provincial Territorial Planning Agency and another from the Environmental Assessment Unit; the Ministry of Government; the Ministry of Economy; the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry of Tourism and Culture.
The plan contemplates different territorial and environmental guidelines:
Tourist-recreational areas.
Green areas: public spaces with native afforestation.
Service areas: water sanitation, water treatment plants, fiber optic equipment, etc.
Research Areas: preservation of paleontological and archaeological sites.
The objective is to develop both margins of the Perilago del Dique, following the zoning criteria. In the south, accommodation, campsites, clubs, spas, public spaces, shops, restaurants, tourist spots and piers, among others, may be built. Meanwhile, in the north: hotel, gastronomic or residential enterprises with their own services. |
