Next Monday, the municipality will present the project for the construction of the Villa María Environmental Management Center to institutions and neighbors. The Municipality invites municipal and provincial institutions, along with residents of the community, to be part of the presentation of the project to build the Villa María-Villa Nueva Environmental Management Center. The call will have an appointment on Monday 25 in the auditorium of the Mariano Moreno Municipal and Popular Library from 7:00 p.m. There, details about the work will be announced with the aim of receiving comments and contributions from the community in order to consolidate approaches to its execution and operations. As for the information related to the execution of the work, it is available on the website of the municipality in the section of the Environmental Management Center banner. Those who enter the site will be able to access details about their public tender, investment, construction time, among other data. This is where the amount shown in the investment section stands out: $1,046,015,792. In May of this year, the Municipality had anticipated that the investment provided by the IDB was $828,252,655, more than 200 million pesos less. The project The Environmental Management Center project, promoted by the National Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development and financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), involves converting the current Municipal Landfill into a sustainable center that contributes to the environment and improves the quality of life of the residents of both cities, according to the Municipality. The plan designed by the municipality, through the Ministry of the Environment, Public Works and Services, was awarded to the company Milicic Construcciones y Servicios. In this sense, the new Environmental Management Center will allow the solid waste of both cities to be treated, for its subsequent separation and reduction, they communicated.
