A total of seven companies participated in the tender that Energía Argentina carried out for the acquisition of valves for the Presidente Néstor Kirchner Gas Pipeline and its
complementary works, corresponding to Stage I of the trunk pipeline.
It was about the reception and opening of offers of the “GPNK Public Tender No. 08/2022 Acquisition of Ø20”, Ø24”, Ø30” and Ø36 DN valves for the GPNK, the
Mercedes-Cardales Gas Pipeline and complementary works of Stage I”.
The offers corresponded to the companies KSB Compañía Sudamericana de Bombas
SA; Cameron Argentina SAIC; Valvtronic S.A.; American Storm, Kioshi SA; Valbol
SA and Wenlen SA.
The tender consists of the acquisition of full bore spherical type valves. The specifications were divided into different “lines”, according to the dates on which the ball valves will be necessary for each of the sections of the Gas Pipeline and its complementary works.
In this way, it was indicated, "Energía Argentina continues to advance in the foreseen terms of a fundamental work for the Argentine energy system". On July 8, Envelope 1 of the bids for the engineering, supply of equipment,
materials and the construction of the Presidente Néstor Kirchner Gas Pipeline was opened.
On June 16, the contract was signed with the SIAT company for the provision of 36-inch and 30-inch pipes.
The Presidente Néstor Kirchner Gas Pipeline, which is part of the Transport.Ar Program,
will have an extension of 573 kilometers between the Neuquén town of Treatyén and
Salliqueló, in the west of the province of Buenos Aires, crossing Río Negro and La
Pampa. The project also includes complementary works such as the
Mercedes-Cardales gas pipeline and the NEUBA II gas pipeline loop, thus totaling 680 kilometers
of pipes in Stage I.
The Presidente Néstor Kirchner Pipeline and its complementary works will allow
a 25% increase in the capacity of the Argentine natural gas transportation system.
It will also be essential for the development of production in Vaca Muerta, since it
will allow this input to reach the countrys large consumption centers,
fully improving the behavior of the gas transportation system. |
