The works, which will be awarded shortly, will be carried out thanks to the coordinated work between the General Secretariat and Public Services, the Ministry of Health, the local municipality and the hospital management.
Two offers were presented in the tender for the construction of the new Aluminé hospital building, whose budget as of last April was 402,433,863 pesos.
The works include the partial demolition of the existing building, of 392 square meters covered. Meanwhile, the sector of the old building that will remain standing covers an area of ??642 square meters, where the hospitalization rooms, delivery room, pediatrics, and outpatient clinics are currently located. In addition, another 42.6 square meters will be readjusted.
The offers presented correspond to the company Okume SA, for 574,943,096 pesos and to Roque Mocciola SA, for 606,393,797 pesos.
The Secretary General and Public Services, Leonel Dacharry, indicated that "the new health building proposed by Governor Omar Gutiérrez, as the 2030 Agenda, will benefit Aluminé, as well as all the surrounding towns and nearby places." He added that this joint work with different portfolios of the cabinet, the mayor of Aluminé and the director of the Hospital "results in improving the quality of life of all Neuquén, and in turn reduces the need to travel to the provincial capital to medical appointments”.
In addition, he indicated that from the second stage tender "the evaluation process begins to determine who will be the winner of the work."
Two bids were received in the tender for the construction of the new Aluminé hospital building.
For her part, the Minister of Health, Andrea Peve, said: “We are really very happy, little by little we are increasing and strengthening the complexity of all hospitals to continue working as a network as we have been doing in the Health System for many years. , with different levels of increasing complexity throughout the province”.

It is an articulated work between the local level, the municipality, the provincial government and a very strong view of our governor Omar Gutiérrez in continuing to advance in the construction, refurbishment and expansion of all our effectors, both hospitals and health centers throughout the province," he remarked.
Meanwhile, the mayor of Aluminé, Gabriel Álamo, pointed out that "it is a very necessary work, since the Aluminé Hospital is one of the oldest in the province" and thanked Governor Gutiérrez, the Ministries of Health and Economy, as well as the General Secretariat and Public Services for their joint work. "From the municipality we understand that working together is the way to make dreams come true for the town, which means from the workforce at the beginning of the work and finally to the whole society," he assured.
The director of the Aluminé hospital, Angélica Huglich, said she was very happy with the completion of each stage of the new building and assured that "it is very important that the Province support local health."
About the work
For the execution of the new stage, the partial demolition of the existing building will be carried out, a surface area of ??392 square meters covered. This involves the tank tower that feeds the old building, sidewalks, exterior subfloors, municipal sidewalk, as well as the dismantling and transfer of the radio antenna located in the interior patio.
The sector of the old building that will not be demolished will comprise an area of ??642 square meters, where the hospitalization rooms, delivery room, pediatrics and outpatient clinics are currently located. Four existing premises will be refunctionalized in this sector.
An external clinic will be located in the current X-ray room, the dental clinic will be located in external clinic No. 3, patient access from an ambulance will be generated in the Headquarters Nursing sector, and the emergency room will be located in office No. 2. machines to house the transfer of heating equipment.
