Work Detail |
The works will be carried out in La Bebida, where they will reach 11,700 residents, and in Barreal, which will benefit more than 10,000 inhabitants. The works were included in the package to be financed by the Nation.
The advantages of sanitation works are invisible to the eye, but over time they represent a solution for the lives of hundreds of neighbors who take advantage of the system. Obras Sanitarias Sociedad del Estado (OSSE) went out to seek national financing to carry out two central works that will benefit almost 22,000 San Juan residents. These are the sewage connection in Barreal, Calingasta, where they will reach more than 10,000 inhabitants, and in La Bebida, Rivadavia, where they estimate they will reach 11,722 people. They presume that the approval will be in the next two months, so, once that period has elapsed, they will start with the respective tasks.
It was the president of the organization, Guillermo Sirerol, who provided the data to DIARIO HUARPE. The official specified that they are places that are still devoid of the system. "Calingasta is the only department in all of San Juan that does not have sanitation," he acknowledged. He pointed out that this work will imply an important movement in the area, since they will carry out the laying of the home network, the placement of collectors and the creation of a new treatment plant for these liquids.
From the agency they estimate that in September they will have the approved technical qualification, so they will proceed to tender the project to execute it instantly. Sirerol maintained that these works are part of a package of $7,000 million that they arranged with the National Entity of Water and Sanitation Works (Enohsa). Right there enter the aqueducts that will be available in Albardón and Sarmiento for the supply of drinking water to localities that have never seen a drop flow from the faucet.
Regarding the connection in Barreal, the president of OSSE commented that this was the work that took the longest in the review stage. This was influenced by the diameter of the main collectors, taking into account that they planned to place some smaller ones, but then they took requests from the community when it came to expanding them, since they understood that they will not only benefit those neighbors, but the rest of the sanjuaninos and tourists who come to the place.
“We have fixed and sporadic users who go to that sector on certain tourist dates. We had to think of the system as something integral when the community is at a full house”, explained Sirerol.
Regarding the work in La Bebida, the official commented that there are many branches that surround the place, but none entered. Now, they want to finish the collector along Avenida José Ignacio de la Roza and those that come from Ullum and Zonda. Once these are completed, they will join a section towards this town to supply the needs of the neighbors.
The beneficiary neighborhoods in La Drink will be: Home Lot 3, Garden Neighborhood, New Cuyo Neighborhood, Home Lot 25, Home Lot 41, Las Lagunas Neighborhood, Bernardino Rivadavia Neighborhood, El Jilguero Neighborhood, Marquesado II Neighborhood, Joint Neighborhood 7, Joint Neighborhood 5 , Los Penitentes neighborhood, La Colonia neighborhood, Home Lot 34.
Colada Work
With the money that enters from Nation, San Juan will refunctionalize the Bajo Segura plant. They want to specify this before reaching the last quarter of this year. "We want all the liquids that are channeled to have a treatment that is through a model plant," Sirerol assured.
Data
Currently, the province has 76.5% of sanitation and with the works in execution it will go to 82.6%. When these works for Barreal and La Bebida are completed, the percentage will reach 87%. |
