The government of the Province of Buenos Aires awarded this week sewer works for General Pueyrredon, specifically for the "Barrio Colina Alegre Corridor", with which they aim to generate housing improvements for some 2,500 people.
As reported by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Services of the Province, the works called "Collector Network and Barrio Colina Alegre Collector" will have an investment of $257,259,538.
The award was made through the Undersecretary of Water Resources and, according to estimates from the area, the project seeks to benefit some 2,500 inhabitants who currently do not have sewage service.
In parallel, the investment contemplates the execution of a network of collectors to provide service to the sector delimited by El Carpintero, La Alondra, El Terú Terú and Calandria streets.
"For every peso invested in sanitation works, we save many others in health expenses, caring for and improving peoples quality of life," said Undersecretary Guillermo Jelinski.
This announcement comes after last year the municipal company Obras Sanitarias (OSSE) advanced the start of the bidding process for a series of sewage interventions for the area that would benefit 1,500 inhabitants in a first stage and another 1,000 for another section. , with the construction of 14,500 meters of new ducts and 370 home connections. |
