The work will allow the gas to be brought through networks to Mones Cazón, which has been waiting for decades for Natural Gas to stop the population and industrial uprooting and cut off the supply by cylinder towards a continuous and safe fluid, predictable supply to hospitals and schools, and the reduction of costs to the neighbors are the main benefits that this work will bring to both localities. The Undersecretary of Energy of the Province of Buenos Aires, Gastón Ghioni, the President of Buenos Aires Gas (BAGSA), Pablo Pérez, the Mayor of Pehuajó Pablo Javier Zurro, provincial and national officials and the Mayor of Daireaux, Alejandro Acerbo, will participate in the event. , since the tendered work also contemplates the arrival of gas to the town of Salazar. The work was tendered and published in the Official Gazette and will require an investment of 1,128,000,000 fully financed by BAGSA. The work consists of the gasification with Natural Gas to the town of Mones Cazón in the district of Pehuajó and the supply of natural gas to the town of Salazar, district of Daireaux, which is supplied by vaporized LPG distributed by networks. The infrastructure requires a high-pressure steel supply pipeline that begins with a section common to both towns, approximately 17.3 km long, where it divides into branches towards Mones Cazón 10.3 km, and towards Salazar through 16.3 km and ; three regulation stations, one metering station and 25 km of distribution networks This work will originate from the NUEBA II trunk gas pipeline, operated by Transportadora de Gas del Sur (TGS) and requires a high-pressure steel feed pipe that begins with a section common to both towns, approx. 17.3 Km. – One pressure regulation and odorization station of 70/25 bar M. – Two pressure regulation and odorization stations of 25/1.5 bar M. – Measurement Station (EMED) of 70 bar M , suitable for a future operating pressure of 77.4 bar M, whose operation will be in charge of TGS once enabled. A distribution network in Mones Cazón with an estimated length of 25 km and in the case of Salazar a short medium pressure pipe (320 m.) to interconnect the existing network with the new regulating plant to be built.
