The Tanzania Electricity Supply Company Limited (TANESCO) invites eligible individual consultants to express their interest in providing consultancy services for ESMP auditing under the 400kV Nyakanazi-Kigoma Transmission Line Project.
CLOSING DATE: 21 June 2022, 10:30 (EAT)
Interested individual consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services.
The shortlisting criteria are:
At least a Master’s degree in Environmental and Social Development related disciplines with working experience on health and safety issues;
Must be registered with National Environment Management Council to undertake environmental audit studies in the country;
A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional experience in
environmental, social, health and safety auditing. Experience in the broad
areas of environmental and social assessment, health and safety assessment and in environmental, social, health and safety management
and monitoring, is an advantage;
Experience in developing and managing the implementation of ESIAs,
ESMPs, HS RAPs in AfDB and other DFI financed projects;
Experience in the project host country would be an added advantage.

Qualified and interested candidates who meet the required qualification and experience are invited to submit an updated CV and cover letter explaining their motivation and why they are suited for the assignment to TANESCO PIU before 21 June 2022 at 10:30am, East African Time.
Interested individual consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions and availability of appropriate skills.
Expressions of interest must be delivered in a written form to the address below on or before 21 June 2022 at 10:30am, East African Time.
